GOOD FRIDAY 2016: The Music and Arts Ministry will present The Seven Last Words of Christ by Théodore Dubois featuring The Chancel Choir with guest soloists: soprano Manna KnJoi, tenor Timothy W. Sparks, and baritone Ted Federle. The Charlotte Symphony’s principal harpist Andrea Mumm and timpanist Nathan Matthews from Winthrop University will join our Weddington organist Derrick Byars for the Good Friday presentation. The work will be conducted by Dr. Reginald M. Houze, Director of Music and Arts. Make plans to come hear Christ’s final statements from the Cross on March 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. School aged children are welcome to attend. Childcare will be available for ages 5 and younger.
